Happy holidays everyone!
I have to say that I am not a huge fan of winter, but I do love celebrating the holidays. With Thanksgiving approaching quickly I have so much to be grateful for. I am grateful for my family and friends, the new opportunities yoga has brought into my life, the amazing experiences I have been having at my yoga teacher training, the wonderful travel that I did this summer, and so much more.
One thing that I am really grateful for and very excited to share with you is that I am now a contributing writer for TryBelle magazine! They are an active healthy lifestyle magazine that focuses on yoga, products, healthy eating, and travel. Their mantra is “Love your life. Live healthy.” I love their message and am so thrilled to be writing for them. Here is an excerpt from my first article, 8 Ways to Stress Free Holidays with Yoga.
The holidays can be a wonderful and magical time. They also bring a lot of extra stress for most people. Feuding families, financial troubles, busier schedules, and cold weather can be major stressors. Luckily, you have many things that you can do to combat this.
Hope on over to TryBelle and check out the whole article here.
I am also excited to start my winter bucket list. Here are some of the things I hope to do this winter.
-Cut down our own tree
-Go ice skating
-Hike in fresh snow
-Read and watch the entire Harry Potter Series
-Go to a restorative yoga class
-Make fudge
-Simmer cinnamon and cloves on the stove
-Roast hazelnuts
-Make homemade chili
