improve your self-esteem, and
increase your mental strength
There is one small thing that you can add to your day to achieve all of this! It’s gratitude!

According to psychologytoday.com gratitude does all of these amazing things. All it takes is writing down or even just being mindful of things in your life that you are grateful for.

Gratitude Challenge Week 3:

Monday: Your Pet

Write one thing about your pet that you are grateful for.

I don’t have a pet of my own. But, many of my family members have pets and I am grateful that I get to enjoy them whenever I want and yet don’t have the responsiblility. It’s a win-win for me right now.

Tuesday: Your Car

Write one thing about your car that you are grateful for.

I absolutely love my car. That excited feeling when I bought it never left. Each time I get into it, I feel grateful that I am able to drive such a nice car. It’s nothing too fancy, it’s a 2009 VW Passat, but to me it feels luxurious.

Wednesday: Your Lunch

Write one thing about your lunch that you are grateful for.

Today my husband, mother-in-law and I went to a market and bought grilled chickens to bring back with us for lunch. They were delicious! I am so grateful to have such good food available to me.

Thursday: Your Body

Write one thing about your body that you are grateful for.

I am grateful that in this past year I have been able to make my body stronger. My body has become more toned, I have more energry, and am capable of doing so many more things. I am also very grateful that I am healthy and able to explore the world.

Friday: Your Last Vacation

Write one thing about your last vacation or staycation that you are grateful for.

I am currently on vacation in France. I am so very grateful to have this experience. There has been a lot of time spent on the beach, snorkeling, sailing, etc. It’s really surreal to me that I am here and able to see so many beautiful things.

Saturday: Your Mistakes

Write one mistake that you are grateful that you made.

I am grateful that I once made the mistake of not going on a vacation that was booked and paid for. We didn’t go to Egypt a few summers ago, because the day before we were supposed to go the country started having major government/terrorist problems. I regretted not going ever since. It was a decision made out of fear. But, I am grateful for the mistake because I learned from that experience and I now try to make my decisions from courage. I am currently in France. With all the attacks that have been happening, I was scared to come. I am so glad that I learned from my past and came on this vacation.

Sunday: Your Past

Write one thing about your past that you are grateful for.

I am grateful that I met my husband so young. We were 17 when we met. I am grateful for this because we have been able to share so much of our lives together. There have been so many amazing things that we have been able to experience together.

Remember to follow me on Bloglovin and comment below at least once for a chance to win those adorable journals. I am really looking forward to hearing what you are grateful for.
