Devanadi Yoga: Why I Did Yoga Teacher Training Here

Devanadi Yoga

Devanadi Yoga is a must if you are in the Twin Cities area. Its focus on the physical and spiritual side of yoga is comprehension and refreshing. This is the place you want to go whether you are looking to learn more about Ayurveda, Thai Body Work, Acro Yoga, the Yoga Sutras, Restorative Yoga, the list could go on and on.

I first came across Devanadi Yoga when I did a search for Acro Yoga workshops. I had never done Acro Yoga before but thought that if would be a fun Valentine’s Day activity for my husband and me. Devanadi Yoga came up in my search. In addition to an Acro Yoga workshop on Valentine’s Day weekend, I also saw that were offering a couples Thai Body workshop the following day.

Not being able to decide between the two, my husband and I signed up for both.

Devanadi Yoga Review

Both of the workshops were amazing. I was hooked to Acro Yoga immediately. If you have never tried it, I would highly recommend it. It’s a perfect partner activity that builds trust, communication, and physical strength.

The couple in this video have crazy Acro skills. Pretty amazing, right?

I was also hooked on Devanadi Yoga. A few months later, I decided that I wanted to go to yoga teacher training. Devanadi Yoga was the top on my list for places to check out. Tanya, the owner, founder, and director of Devanadi Yoga is a wealth of knowledge and I knew learning from her would be amazing. After checking out four different places, I knew that my initial instinct was right. I applied to the Devanadi Yoga teacher training and was accepted.

Yoga Teacher Training Experience

Throughout my eight month program, my love for Devanadi continued to grow. The community of people involved in the program, the unbelievable amount of knowledge that Tanya has and the vast topics covered made the training an incredible experience.

Going through a yoga teacher training program (Devanadi’s program especially) is something that I would recommend to anyone. Even if you don’t see yourself becoming a yoga teacher, it is an experience that is life changing. What you learn about yourself, how to improve your health and wellbeing, the friendships you make, it all makes it an experience that helps shape you into your best self.

At the very least, I would recommend taking some workshops at Devanadi Yoga. There are a ton to choose from and I’m sure they won’t disappoint you.

Namaste,

Abby
