30 Day Gratitude Challenge Week 4

Gratefulness brings great things in our lives. Take this four week gratitude challenge!

Welcome to week four of my gratitude challenge. If you missed out on the first three weeks keep reading to learn about the challenge. Otherwise, skip down to the challenge!

What if you could…..

improve your physical and psychological health,
enhance your empathy and decrease your aggression,
get better sleep,
improve your self-esteem, and
increase your mental strength
There is one small thing that you can add to your day to achieve all of this! It’s gratitude!

According to psychologytoday.com gratitude does all of these amazing things. All it takes is writing down or even just being mindful of things in your life that you are grateful for.

So let’s do it! For the next 30 days, I challenge you to increase your gratitude. I’ll give you a topic for each day. Want to enter a drawing for this beautiful journals? They are from Mara Mi, an adorable stationary brand, based out of my hometown, Stillwater, MN. They have other store locations, so check them out if you are interested.

Alright, here we go…

Gratitude Challenge Week 4:

Monday: Your Hair

Write one thing about your hair that you are grateful for.

I am grateful that my natural hair color is pretty close to what I would ideally want it to be. I haven’t colored or highlighted my hair in years, it’s not exactly how I want it, but it looks pretty close. It saves me a ton of money and is much healthier for my hair.

Tuesday: Your Neighbors

Write one thing about your neighbors that you are grateful for.

I am grateful that my neighbors are my really good friends. It’s so nice to have them next door. We have weekly dinners, there is always someone around to keep you company, and it’s nice knowing they are there if I need them.

Wednesday: Your Commute

Write one thing about your commute that you are grateful for.

I am grateful that during my commute to work I can listen to podcasts. Since discovering podcasts, I have actually started to enjoy my drive to work. They make the time fly by and I feel like I learn something new every day.

Thursday: Your Family

Write one thing about your family that you are grateful for.

I am grateful that I have so many people in my family. I love that on holidays there is a large group of people to celebrate with.

Friday: Your Week

Write one thing about your week that you are grateful for.

I am so very grateful that this past week I was on vacation. I spent time in Bretagne, a small region on the coast of France. My husband spent time here every summer growing up (he is German, so it was a car ride away for him). When I joined him and my mother-in-law on this trip, I had no idea what to expect. But, I must say that it is the most beautiful place I have ever been to.

Saturday: The Weather Today

Write one thing about the weather today that you are grateful for.

I am grateful for the blue skies today. I am traveling all day by bus and I get pretty anxious on the roads with bad weather.

Sunday: Your Life

Write one thing about your life that you are grateful for.

I am so grateful for all the amazing things I have experienced. I have been able to travel to many interesting and beautiful places, meet amazing people, learn new skills, eat delicious food, and so much more. In only 28 years, I have done so much and I feel so lucky to have the life I do.

Remember to follow me on Bloglovin and comment below at least once for a chance to win those adorable journals. I am really looking forward to hearing what you are grateful for.
